We were delighted when the new Headteacher at Nook Lane contacted us to help them with their junior school branding. The old logo had become very tired and he wanted a brand which reflected the energy and aspiration of the school.
They used our branding lesson plans to work with the children to find out what the new junior school branding should represent. We then came into school and the children went through their ideas with our design team. Following this briefing session, we produced a number of different design concepts which included all the different elements the children had picked up. We then came back into school and presented our concepts to the children explaining how we had interpreted their ideas. Following some development work, the new logo was chosen and everyone was delighted with the final design.
It was then time to roll out the brand throughout the school and we produced some brand guidelines to help staff use the new logo, colours and fonts. We also produced a full stationery suite, name badges, door plaques and external signs.
